Laminated Wall Maps
Laminated Maps that Last
Every map is printed, then laminated front and back with a 3 mil hot lamination. The lamination protects your map from tearing, moisture, and fading, and gives you a smooth surface that works with Mark-It Dots. Choose a glossy finish for bright color and dry-erase use, or a matte finish to cut glare. Laminated maps can be rolled for storage or finished with rails, grommets, mounting, or framing.
Using Your Laminated Map
Write on a glossy laminated map with dry-erase markers and wipe it clean, or mark locations with Mark-It Dots that peel off without damage. Laminated maps are durable enough for offices, classrooms, and shared workspaces. If you need a rigid, flat display, choose a mounted or framed finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
You’ll find answers to many common questions below. If you still need help, feel free to contact us - our team will be happy to assist.
What is 3 mil hot lamination?
It's a clear protective film, 3 mil (0.003 inches) thick, that is heat-sealed to both the front and back of your map. It protects against tearing, moisture, and fading while giving you a smooth surface you can write on.
Can I write on a laminated map?
Yes, with glossy lamination. Glossy laminated maps work with dry-erase markers, so you can write, wipe clean, and start again. Matte lamination is not compatible with dry-erase markers. Both finishes work with Mark-It Dots.
What's the difference between glossy and matte lamination?
Glossy is our standard lamination and delivers bright, vibrant color. Matte offers the same protection with a glare-free finish that's easier to read in brightly lit rooms, but it is not compatible with dry-erase markers.
Can a laminated map be rolled up?
Yes. Laminated maps are ready to hang on the wall, join the meeting, or roll up and take on the road.
What finishing options can I add to a laminated map?
Laminated maps can be finished with plastic or wooden rails, grommets, mounting, framing, or a spring roller. Browse all finishing options or talk with a Map Specialist for help choosing.
